IGP Pays Tributes at Bangabandhu’s Mausoleum After Getting Promoted Senior Secretary…….Abdullah Al Mamun

Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun BPM (Bar), PPM paid tribute at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as he was promoted to the rank of Senior Secretary.
The IGP paid tribute to Bangabandhu’s mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Monday (04 September 2023) morning.
After paying his respects, he recited the holy Fateha and participated in a special prayer to pray for the souls of those martyred on August 15, including Bangabandhu.
Later the IGP signed the inspection book.
At that time, Additional IGP of Special Branch (SB) Md. Monirul Islam, DIG of Dhaka Range Syed Nurul Islam, Superintendent of Police of Gopalganj District Al-Beli Afifa and other police officers were with the IGP.
It is to be noted that a notification has been issued yesterday by the Ministry of Public Administration giving the status of Senior Secretary to Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun BPM (Bar), PPM.
